Work: First job at the age of seven , door-to-door magazine sales: Saturday Evening Post, Life, Ladies Home Companion, et al. In high school and college worked after school and summers , everything from shipping departments to camp counselor and sailing instructor.
Over the years Harry has held position in radio sales, ethical drug sales, owned an advertising agency, a coal brokerage firm and a consumer buying service. In 1980 the Reagan Administration appointed Harry Administrator, Southeastern Power Administration, a position he held for eight years. In recent years Harry has been a business and political consultant.
Legislative: Elected to the Georgia House of Representatives 1969-1974, Re-Elected 2004. Served as House Republican Whip 1970-1974. Selected College Intern Coordinator for the House of Representatives 1973 and 1974. Chaired: Water and Air Pollutions, Sub-committee of State Planning and Community Affairs Committee. Member: Ways and Means, and Rules committees.

Selected by Speaker of the House George L. Smith, II, to serve as Georgia's first advisor to the National Legislative Leaders' Conference. Active committee member of the National Legislative Conference on Campaign Financing and Ethics. 1972 - Nominated by the press and selected by Rutgers University as one of fifty legislators in the United States to attend the Eagleton Institute of Politics, an honor for outstanding leaders. 1974 - Republican Candidate for Governor of Georgia.
